A large construction company is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their rapidly expanding team. This is a big firm yet very family- oriented with both a fun and professional culture. We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team.

• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Process Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
• Support job cost tracking and project accounting activities.
• Assist with payroll entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (G/L exposure/knowledge required).
• Construction industry accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Experience with construction accounting software (Sage 300, Viewpoint, etc.) a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
