Tax Manager

Overview

Tax Manager – Austin | $130k–$150k | Hybrid

This role offers base pay in the range of $130,000 to $150,000 per year. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Public Accounting is required, plus CPA certification. This position is not the typical managerial tax role and focuses on review of high-level, complex HNW Individual returns, while guiding a team and shaping the way the firm operates within a flat-hierarchy, open-door culture.

Busy season is manageable, with expected hours around 55–60 per week. Pay is transparent with production-based bonuses.

• Review high-level, complex high-net-worth individual tax returns.
• Lead and guide a team, contributing to process improvements and shaping firm operations.
• Collaborate with partners in a flat-hierarchy, open-door culture to drive growth and efficiency.
• Maintain work-life balance while delivering quality client service during busy periods.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Public Accounting.
• CPA certification required.
