Our client, a leading organization in the technology support sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Computer Hardware Service Clerk to join their team. As a Computer Hardware Service Clerk, you will be an essential part of the IT department supporting operational efficiency and technological asset management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to accuracy, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Computer Hardware Service Clerk
Location: AUSTIN, MN
Pay Range: $19.00
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am – 2:30pm
What's the Job?
- Receive in and store company personal computer equipment – new and used.
- Prepare equipment for disposal, recycling, or donation.
- Ship personal computer equipment and peripherals to users at various locations – breakfix devices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the Ivanti Service Manager system for shipping, receiving, transfer, and retirement of computer equipment.
- Coordinate computer donations to 501(c)(3) organizations and manage return fulfillment processes.
What's Needed?
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic knowledge of hardware maintenance and diagnostics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external contacts.
- Proficiency in using inventory management and shipping software.
- Willingness to support hardware provisioning and return processes.
