Austin, MN | Day Shift | Short-Term Contract
We are hiring two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support a well-established primary care health center in Austin, Minnesota. Both roles are weekday-only, day shift assignments with full-time hours and no weekends. Schedules are slightly staggered to support clinic coverage.
This is an excellent opportunity for LPNs who enjoy outpatient or primary care work and want predictable hours in a low-acuity setting.
Assignment Overview (Both Openings)Contract Length: 5 weeks with extensions. Perm employment possible.
Shift: Day shift only
Openings: 2 LPNs
Schedule Options (Assigned at Offer)Schedule A
Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Schedule B
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Candidates must be flexible to work one of the two fixed schedules listed above.
Role ResponsibilitiesObtain and document patient histories
Administer routine immunizations
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (required)
Assist providers with minor procedures
Support daily primary care clinic workflows
This is a primary care / clinic environment, not inpatient or acute care.
Required QualificationsPhlebotomy experience required
Prior primary care or outpatient clinic experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
