Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered perioperative nursing care using the nursing process
- Practice evidence-based clinical care and sound analytical judgment
- Coordinate care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Partner with patients and families through education and communication
- Practice in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and organizational policies
- Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and quality initiatives
- Support continuity of care across the perioperative continuum
- Complete all required competencies, education, and unit-based training
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor as needed
Experience:
- Key Skills :
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact) - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced Operating Room environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Strong patient advocacy and service-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with clinical technology and documentation systems
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
- Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
