In this role you’ll guide patients through complex imaging-guided procedures, monitor them through recovery, and collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and perioperative teams. Your contributions will directly influence patient outcomes and the efficiency of the IR process. While you’ll be based in Austell, you’ll also have the opportunity to work at other sites across the U.S., gaining exposure to varied IR protocols, equipment, and multidisciplinary teams. As the IR RN, you’ll perform critical pre-procedure assessments, establish reliable IV access, monitor vital signs, and assist physicians during angiography, embolization, stent placements, and other imaging-guided interventions. You’ll ensure sterile technique, manage conscious sedation or monitored anesthesia care under supervision, and coordinate with nursing, radiology, and anesthesia teams to optimize patient safety. Post-procedure care, patient education, and discharge planning will complete the patient journey.

This role offers clear pathways for professional growth within interventional radiology, including cross-training in vascular interventions, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
