Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population with acute medical and surgical needs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes.

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other team members.
• Document all patient interactions, medications, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Respond promptly to emergencies, participate in rapid response and code blue events.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care.
• Adhere to all infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Promote a positive and collaborative team environment that supports evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or Compact State License).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred).
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care or hospital experience preferred (Med-Surg, Step-Down, or Telemetry experience highly valued).
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
