Axia Residential is a rapidly growing property management company, and we’re looking for a Groundskeeper/Punch Technician with a strong work ethic and great attitude to help us keep our 334-unit community looking its absolute best!

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in groundskeeping or general maintenance, preferably in multifamily housing or commercial properties
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to property cleanliness and safety
  • Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance procedures is a plus
  • Pool maintenance experience or certification is a bonus
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain daily cleanliness of all exterior areas including courtyards, walkways, parking lots, dumpster enclosures, mail centers, and recreational amenities
  • Proactively patrol the property each morning and throughout the day to remove trash, debris, and pet waste to ensure a safe and attractive environment
  • Ensure trash areas are clean and orderly; report any missed trash service or overflow issues
  • Power wash breezeways, sidewalks, building exteriors, and pool decks on a routine schedule or as needed
  • Clean and maintain common areas including the leasing office, clubhouse, laundry room, fitness center, and community restrooms
  • Maintain the pool area: remove debris, clean furniture, and assist with basic pool maintenance if certified
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups, replacing exterior light bulbs, basic plumbing or carpentry under direction of the maintenance team
  • Support unit turnover process including trash-outs, cleaning, and preparing apartments for new residents
  • Assist with seasonal tasks including snow/ice removal, leaf blowing, and light landscaping or grounds repair
  • Conduct regular safety checks around the property and report any hazards or maintenance needs
  • Monitor and maintain stock of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Interact professionally with residents and team members; respond to resident concerns courteously and promptly
