Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Provide relationship-based patient centered care that adapts to cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics

• Partner with patients and significant others through bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching

• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care

• Participate in interdisciplinary communication methods and complete timely documentation

• Support performance improvement initiatives and research utilization

• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education

• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff

• Participate in evidence-based practice and nursing research activities

• Plan for patient care across the care continuum

• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred

• Georgia RN license or multi-state compact license required

• BLS certification required upon hire

• Less than 1 year experience acceptable with completion of accredited nursing school

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required

• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
