Job Summary

Lindahl Reed is seeking a qualified Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to support multiple projects at the Federal Law Enforcement Center. The CQCM is responsible for overseeing and enforcing all quality control, safety, and compliance requirements for construction activities at the FLETC project site in Georgia. This role ensures that all work performed by Atlanta Gas Light/Southern Company subcontractors meets contractual requirements, applicable codes, OSHA standards, and EM-385-1-1 safety regulations.

The CQCM supervises daily construction operations, coordinates site access, manages subcontractor performance, and ensures all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules. The position serves as the on‑site representative of Georgia Power/Southern Company, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and assisting with material and equipment submittals; scheduling, managing, and supporting subcontractors; setting clear expectations and enforcing quality and safety standards; and ensuring proper documentation of daily construction activities. The CQCM prepares and maintains required reports, job meeting minutes, safety meeting documentation, daily reports, photographic documentation, and issue logs as directed by the Project Manager.

This role also ensures site security to prevent damage and theft, maintains OSHA compliance by enforcing safety standards, and conducts inspections to verify that all work conforms to contract drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural), applicable building codes, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders. The position requires the ability to navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders and traversing uneven surfaces to properly inspect work.
