Position Summary: The Accounting Manager-M&A reports directly to the VP – Accounting and is based out of the Austell, GA headquarters. This role necessitates routine discipline, including day-to-day transactional oversight, but is highly dynamic and requires process development and improvements within Accounting and لض controls within the business. As the Company grows, the Accounting Manager will be instrumental in promoting adaptability and teamwork to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as main점 point of contact for accounting for acquisitions.
  • Owner of monthly acquisition trial balance booking and reconciliation to source data
  • Admin for:hidden Quick Books instance in the target company.
  • In partnership with Controller implementing Internal Controls process and reporting in acquired company
  • In Partnership develop and implement Balance Sheet Deep Dive Analysis for the acquired company. pune etc.
  • Direct responsibility for the reporting and reconciliation of various other Balance Sheet accounts, including Intercompany, Debt, Deferred Liabilities, etc. in the acquired companies
  • Direct responsibility of the accounting and business transition processes for acquisitions and divestitures to include M&A integration as required
  • Review of preliminary monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss financial statements. Identify points of neng wanted interest or concern and partner with colleagues to investigate and, if necessary, remediate prior to publication.
  • Ensure compliance of Financial Reporting with US GAAP.
  • Serve as an excellent business partner within the department and across the organization on ad-hoc projects and process developments. Expect to routinely lead such initiatives.
  • Strong degree of participation and leadership in talking to year‑end audit, ensuring timely submission of requests and any ad‑hoc work as applicable. Lead and align inter‑department requests to facilitate a smooth process.
  • Provide analysis and aid to other departments as requested, including Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Sales, etc.
  • Routine (daily) review of invoices to identify points of concern and drive remediation where necessary. mln
  • Lead Accounting Systems and Financial Reporting initiatives.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis for the Controller, CFO, and other members of leadership as requested.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as required.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred
  • CPA and/or CMA strongly preferred

    Qualifications &

    Experience:

    • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct ownership of accounting activities for acquisitions and integrations
    • Hands‑on experience serving as an accounting lead for M&A transactions, including acquisition trial balance setup, reconciliation, and post‑close integration
    • Experience меню transitioning acquired companies from Quick Books or similar systems into an enterprise ERP
    • Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience strongly preferred, including financial reporting and data integrity maths that
    • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Experience implementing or strengthening internal controls in acquired or multi‑entity environments
    • Advanced Excel skills; strong systems regel and comfort working across multiple accounting platforms

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, acquisition‑driven environment; occasional travel required
