Position: Accounting Specialist I

Description

Elevate Solutions Group is a growing injection molder and integrated supply chain solution provider on the West Side of the Atlanta Metro area. Established initially to service a niche market, ESG is rapidly expanding its molding and 3PL clientele to all types of industries. We have a need for an experienced Accounting Specialist in our Austell office.

Primary:
Perform day-to-day accounting duties including the timely processing of payable.

Secondary:
Assist Accounting Specialist II with daily AR tasks and ad hoc reports for Controller.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Validate invoice content, accuracy, and approval authorization. Work with management to resolve validation issues.
  • Onboard new vendors and identify 1099 status. Retain W-9 file for all vendors and prepare year-end documents.
  • Work with all vendors for accurate and timely processing of invoices from receipt to payment for both PO and non-PO purchases.
  • Execute the daily payment process for ACH and wire payments through bank portal.
  • Research and resolve AP questions submitted by phone and email. Communication with external vendors must be done in a diplomatic fashion in order to maintain vendor relationships.
  • Perform account reconciliations and provide adequate support for all balance sheet items.
  • Provide backup for other team members, including participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Two years A/P and some A/R experience
  • Accounting or Finance Bachelor’s degree Highly preferred
  • Experience with ERP system to manage accounting transactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Above average oral and written communication skills
  • Well organized, detail oriented, and has ability to problem solve
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadline requests
