Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
- Follows standard operating procedures to install, inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety and waste management systems.
- Assists with miscellaneous facility projects including painting, drywall, carpentry, fixture installation, and moving furniture or materials within the facility.
- Utilizes a work order system to log activities as required.
- Works with or assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Typically reports to a supervisor and works under the close direction of senior personnel. Moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. 0-1 year of general work experience may be required.
