Role OverviewThe Sales Associate is a vital member of the store team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the Coach brand standards.
Responsibilities- Understand and align with organizational objectives and company priorities.
- Take ownership of personal performance metrics, creating short‑ and long‑term sales and clienteling strategies.
- Own personal survey results and develop improvement plans.
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and model the company’s selling and service expectations.
- Adapt to local market changes, supporting the execution of targeted sales strategies.
- Drive business through sales strategy, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining ongoing productive relationships.
- Build credibility as a fashion advisor by communicating current trends, competition, and product value.
- Provide in‑depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, pricing, and promotional strategy.
- Leverage cross‑selling skills to encourage beneficial product add‑ons that meet customer needs.
- Read customer cues, tailor the approach, and attend to the unique shopping needs of each customer.
- Manage multiple customers simultaneously and follow up consistently to close sales.
- Flex selling techniques to support overall store financial results.
- Build lasting and loyal customer relationships.
- Utilize Coach tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.

- Ensure all daily operational tasks are completed without compromising service or standards.
- Maintain store floor, backroom, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards.
- Replenish and stock inventory, support the inventory process, and maintain strong organizational standards.
- Assist with inventory shipments, stocking shelves, and restocking the sales floor.
- Support cash wrap operations, processing purchases, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Help prepare and organize functional areas, perform routine cleaning, and maintain visual merchandising expectations.

- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and market competition.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, and mobile POS.
- Physical ability to work fast pace, lift up to 25 pounds routinely, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays such as Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, and Mother’s Day.
Compensation & BenefitsBase pay range: $15.00 to $17.75 per hour. Tapestry will comply with all applicable wage requirements.
