Wanted:
Home Health Aides & Personal Care Assistants. We are looking for individuals to help care for local elderly clients, one-on-one, in their homes. Most clients need help with day-to-day tasks like grocery shopping, running errands, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and helping them remain as independent as possible in the comfort of their own homes. Some clients need more intimate help with showering and toileting.

Every case is different. Hours and clients will be based on your individual availability, skill, and comfort level.

Northern Portage County, Northern Summit County & Southern Geauga County

• $16.00 per hour starting pay.
• Pay differential for short shifts (any shifts under 4 hours).

• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with the utmost sensitivity and respect.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, creating a nurturing and reassuring presence.
• Channel your inner Martha Stewart to whip up culinary creations in the kitchen (or at least edible ones).
• Handle household chores and errands with finesse (cape optional).
• Keep spirits high with top-notch joke-telling skills and infectious laughter.
• Provide personalized care that would make even Mary Poppins proud.

• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid driver s license & vehicle (to embark on grocery runs and pharmacy adventures).
• Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to reach clients  homes.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy.
• A deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by patients and families at the end of life.
• A knack for turning everyday moments into memorable experiences.
• The ability to find humor in challenging situations.
• We hire State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, retired nurses, retirees (from any field), empty-nesters, or anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn and become a professional caregiver.
