HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers for a client site in Aurora, IL. This position offers a pay rate of $18.50/hr, paid weekly. We have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts available.

All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security.

• Security, military, or law enforcement supervisory experience preferred.
• Willing and able to travel between two sites (Burr Ridge and Bolingbrook locations).
• Valid PERC Card preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Read and understand written instruction and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form.
• Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
