We’re looking for a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to grow our clients' business, selling health and medical supplies to School Districts, Head Start programs, and Community Action Agencies. Based in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, the successful candidate will report to the office during the workweek and travel regularly to their assigned territory, including 5–7 overnight trips every 4–6 weeks to Texas and California.
This role focuses on outbound prospecting, managing the full sales cycle, building long-term customer relationships, and consistently achieving sales goals.
- Make 200 outbound calls per week to prospect and maintain accounts
- Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities within your territory
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close
- Present and demonstrate products to decision-makers
- Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business
- Attend state and national conferences and trade shows
- Track activity, manage CRM records, and provide territory updates
- 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication and follow‑up skills
- Comfortable with high‑volume outbound outreach
- Organized, self‑motivated, and results‑driven
- Experience selling to schools, the public sector, or healthcare markets
- Multi‑state territory experience
- Trade show or conference sales experience
- Stable and growing industry serving schools and community organizations
- Clear performance metrics and defined expectations
