Position Overview: Shift Supervisors are responsible for providing leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor performs all duties of a Customer Service Representative and assists the Assistant Store Manager in day-to-day store operations. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities of all team members.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build relationships with customers
- Establish and promote a strong customer service culture
- Support the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals
- Assist in developing and motivating store team members to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Perform Customer Service Representative duties and supervise team in the absence of the Store Manager, including transaction processing, cash drawer maintenance, and cash handling procedures
- Coach CSRs on proper transactions that meet service and compliance standards
- Review and approve checks within limits
- Support store marketing efforts within the community
- Resolve customer complaints
- Assist the Store Manager with scheduling, cash, and store audits
- Review Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure understanding of current policies and changes
- Maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers and team members
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of one year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant industries
- Ability and willingness to engage with customers
- Ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers
- Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Honesty and integrity
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- English fluency required;
English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Manage several tasks and handle interruptions to meet customer needs
