Entegris is currently seekinga

Scientist I, Research Associate to join our Research & Development ICPS NAteam. This position will be based in our Aurora, Illinois facility.

In this role, you will provide laboratory support and assist in the development and commercialization of commercially viable products for chemical-mechanical planarization (CMP) applications s role will be responsible forindependentlyperformingwet lab experiments,lab-based polishing experiments, product reliability tests, formulation experiments, fundamental wet-chemistry or instrument studies, data collection/summarization/analysis, and maintenance of the laboratory.

What You'llDo

• Conduct small-scale polishing experiments to assess product performance and reproducibility

• Participate in lab test method development and run laboratory tests for characterizing CMP slurries

• Plan and execute experiments to understand slurry behavior suchas;colloidal stability, shelf stability, and pot-life stability

• Perform preliminary interpretation of datain order to recognize and correct test abnormalities, and present results to the team

• Prepare slurry samples and coordinate production for polishing experiments with the pilot plant

• Uphold and follow strict laboratory safety requirements and policies

• Maintain and control inventory of chemicals used for experimental products

• Collaborate with colleagues in the maintenance and upkeep of laboratory tools and instruments

What We Seek

• BA/BS in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Material Science, or Engineering Technology.
  
  Recent college grads are welcome to apply!

• Hands-on experience with wet chemistry techniques and instrumentation used in chemistry laboratories.

• Demonstrated ability to execute experiments and analyze basic data

• Excellent time management

• Ability to communicate effectively in a candid and professional manner.

• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word,Powerpoint).
