Registered Nurse School in Aurora, IL

A part-time nursing opportunity is available supporting an elementary/pre-kindergarten student in a school setting located in Aurora, IL. This contract-to-hire position offers 21 hours per week, scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The role requires providing one-on-one nursing care to a student who uses a tracheostomy, making trach experience essential.

• Delivering direct nursing care tailored to the student's needs
• Managing tracheostomy care to ensure safety and comfort
• Collaborating with educators and school staff to support the student's health needs
• Monitoring the student's condition and responding to changes promptly
• Documenting care and maintaining communication with relevant personnel and family members

• Valid RN or LPN/LVN licensure with school nursing experience
• Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomy care and management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
• Experience providing care in a 1:1 school nursing setting is highly desired
