Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Setting: Hospital-based
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to support a busy anesthesia department in a hospital setting. This locum opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule with no call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Deliver anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verifies patient consent
Collaborate with supervising MDs in planning and administering anesthesia
Monitor patients’ physiological status throughout procedures
Perform clinical interventions as needed
Case Types:
General, Orthopedic, Obstetrics
Team Structure:
MDs supervise CRNAs
CRNA to MD ratio: 2:1
MDs also perform their own cases
15 anesthesia rooms onsite
Requirements:
Active Illinois license (required at time of submission)
Familiarity with iPro charting system
Additional Information:
No in-house or pager call required
Overtime is not expected but may be offered
