Behavioral Health / Psych Acute Adult;
Part‑time day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation. Facility:
Mercy Medical, Aurora, IL 60506.

Up to $5,000.

• Perform basic nursing duties, including treating patients, educating patients and families about mental and medical conditions, and providing emotional support.
• Run therapeutic groups, provide psychiatric crisis intervention, and manage seclusion and restraint of patients when necessary.
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms, assist in diagnostic testing and analysis, operate medical machinery, administer treatments and medications, and facilitate patient follow‑up and rehabilitation.
• Teach patients and families how to manage illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self‑administration of medication and physical therapy.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must have a current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
• Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.

• Compensation estimate: $35.35 to $53.58 per hour (including wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation). Exact starting compensation determined at hiring.
