General/Non-Invasive Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Inpatient
Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health, invites applications for the Inpatient General/Non-Invasive Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers (APP).
Responsibilities- Inpatient-focused positions providing care to cardiology patients within Rush Copley Medical Center.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform patient evaluations, coordinate care transitions, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
- Second day call coverage model, averaging approximately 40 patient-facing hours per week, with no call responsibilities.
Rush position requirements and credentials are described below. For reference, there are distinct tracks for Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant roles.
Nurse Practitioner
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
- Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license
- Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable
- CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications
- Excellent communicator
- Experience treating patients of all ages
Physician Assistant
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable
- Excellent communicator
- Experience treating patients of all ages
Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $108,264 – $162,385
