Plant Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations supporting multi-shift production lines along with facilities oversight at a global nutrition and wellness company in Aurora, Illinois. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

This role is key to ensuring equipment reliability, driving strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and maintaining full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. Beyond the technical scope, this leader will build and inspire a high-performing team, champion continuous improvement initiatives, oversee critical capital projects, and promote a culture grounded in safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; comparable hands‑on experience will also be considered.
• At least five years of experience in plant operations leadership, including a minimum of two years overseeing and developing direct reports.
• In-depth expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues within high‑voltage, multi‑phase electrical systems.
• Background working with food manufacturing and packaging machinery, including related production processes.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, security and alarm systems, fire protection systems, and facility electrical distribution infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of GMP standards, OSHA requirements, electrical safety practices, and food safety regulations (FDA, SQF, NSF), as well as applicable building codes.
• Experience utilizing computerized preventive and predictive maintenance systems, including work order management and performance trend analysis.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
• Ability to interpret and analyze control logic diagrams, P&IDs, and other technical documentation related to automated packaging systems.

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000/year + bonus
