Metal Polisher – St Charles, IL

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: 2nd shift, 4:30pm–1:00am
Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with stroke sanders and the ability to polish metal parts.
- Operate stroke sanders and related polishing equipment safely and effectively
- Polish and finish metal parts to a consistent finish
- Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and accuracy
- Follow production schedules and meet required deadlines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Experience using stroke sanders and working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of metal polishing techniques
- Ability to achieve #4 finish and food-grade quality
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to stand, lift, and work with hands-on tasks for extended periods
- Steel toe boots required
