Role Summary
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the stable, secure, and compliant operation of enterprise IT systems and the modern workplace environment. This role supports servers, endpoints, networks, cloud services, and security controls while ensuring alignment with business needs, regulatory standards, and internal governance requirements.
Systems & Infrastructure- Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Support endpoint environments including desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Perform system updates, patching, and configuration hardening
- Maintain secure system configurations aligned with information security standards
- Implement and monitor security controls such as endpoint protection, logging, and patching
- Support vulnerability management, incident response, and root-cause analysis
- Maintain audit-ready system and configuration documentation
- Support LAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall, and remote‑access solutions
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure reliable network performance
- Assist with network security measures and segmentation
- Support cloud platforms and productivity tools (e.G., identity services, collaboration tools)
- Manage device management and endpoint compliance solutions
- Ensure secure configuration of cloud and endpoint environments
- Monitor system availability, performance, and security events
- Maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure data integrity and system availability
- Provide second‑level support for infrastructure‑related incidents
- Collaborate with internal IT, security, and business teams
- Coordinate with external service providers as needed
- Support internal and external audits with technical evidence
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies
- Familiarity with endpoint management and monitoring tools
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and security principles
- Experience supporting backups, recovery, and system monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience documenting processes and system configurations
- Working knowledge of IT service management practices (incident, change, problem)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Structured, dependable, and solution‑oriented work style
- High level of confidentiality and security awareness
- Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations
- Reduce operational and security risk through proactive monitoring and controls
- Support a modern, efficient IT workplace environment
- Continuously improve IT systems, processes, and documentation
