Will work every third weekend.
Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Should have experience with the required charting system.

Description:

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Tech.
The shift is four ten-hour days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
One year of experience is required, but first-time candidates are accepted.
Primary call is required two nights a week and every third weekend.
Candidates will float within the scope to meet facility needs.
The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 372 staffed beds.
The hospital is a Level II Trauma center.
Candidates will be responsible for various interventional radiology procedures.
Required skills include chemo embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, and liver biopsy.
Other skills include thoracentesis, adrenal angiography, and nephrostomy.
The role involves maintaining a sterile field and equipment.
Candidates must adhere to isolation precautions and use of personal protective equipment.
The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics.
The daily census is approximately 18 visits per day.
There are three procedure rooms and four beds in the unit.
This position requires the ability to manage and stock supplies as needed.
Floating is required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Candidates should be able to accommodate schedule requests discussed with the manager.
The typical start time is upon completion of compliance needs.
