Overview

As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum, you’ll have the exciting role of helping children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self-help skills through a form of play-based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities- Work with kids aged 2-22 with autism and special needs in their homes, schools, or at our centers.
- Support ABA therapy sessions, implementing behavior plans and data collection.
- Engage in push, pull, and lift tasks up to 35 pounds as required.
- Attend training and comply with background checks.
- Maintain reliable transportation to client sites.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age 18.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a background check.
- Availability for part-time shifts M‑F 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., usually 12:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m., and Saturdays.
- Strong desire to help children with autism and families, compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, and reliability.
- Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Preferred: bilingual (English/Spanish), background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or related field.
- Experience working with children (babysitting, teaching, coaching, or childcare).
- Interest in RBT certification.
- Full‑time employees eligible for up to 15 days of paid time off after 90 days of employment.
- Part‑time employees receive sick leave.
- Potential promotion within as little as three months upon mastering ABA.
- Opportunity to earn RBT certification.
