The Electronic Payments Representative (ACH) position is responsible for supporting the daily processing, monitoring, and maintenance of electronic transactions within the Automated Clearing House (ACH) and/or daily Wire Transfers as part of the Electronic Payments processing area.

• Perform all daily ACH processing, including file uploads, posting, balancing, and endofday routines.
• Provide backup support for Wire Transfer operations as needed.
• Monitor ACH origination reports, verify balances, and coordinate with Account Officers on negative collected-balance positions.
• Handle customer inquiries and file changes, maintaining accurate audit records.
• Send required returned-item notices and Notifications of Change (NOCs) to Originators.
• Process Regulation E and Remittance claims within required timelines.
• Reconcile ACH-related general ledger accounts, resolve discrepancies, and report money positions to Accounting.
• Review OFAC queues and support BSA/Fraud investigations as necessary.
• Process ACH filters, blocks, and exceptions.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all ACH regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Electronic Payments Manager.

• High school diploma and one or more years of banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong computer proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Electronic Payments experience
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred

This position requires the incumbent to work onsite (37 S. River Street, Aurora, IL) on a daily basis to perform the regular responsibilities of the role.

Base pay: $20.50 - $27.00/hour
