Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.The security supervisor is responsible for all security activities and security ambassadors on duty.
Essential Responsibilities- Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department
- Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction
- Enforces internal control policies and procedures
- Enforces underage gambling and drinking laws
- Maintains safety and inspection reports for the property
- Conducts regular security post inspections
- Prepares security incident reports and maintains security logs
- Reports guest and team member concerns and complaints to manager
- Ensures security team members adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards consistent with department and company standards
- Interacts and cooperates with regulatory, fire/rescue and law enforcement agencies
- Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required: one to two years of casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating discounts, interest, and commissions and apply them to practical situations
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodation including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License
