What you’ll doAs a Wastewater Project Engineer, you will have the chance to unleash your potential and take on exciting projects that will expand your skills. We reward hard work and dedication, and you’ll be encouraged to pursue professional growth opportunities. You will also:
- Provide wastewater engineering design services, including retrofitting wastewater treatment plants and correcting effluent exceedances.
- Draft reports, develop conceptual designs, evaluate alternatives, prepare plan markups, prepare cost opinions, draft technical specifications, and make preliminary equipment selections.
- Work with clients to gather data or share information.
- Assist with construction administration, including shop drawing review, construction observation, reviewing change orders, startup assistance, and pay application review.
Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering and five years or more of professional experience, ideally with your PE license or the ability to obtain it within the next six months. In addition, you should:
- Be a team player, working across departments to support firm goals.
- Speak and write well.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Think strategically, finding and implementing improvements.
