Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing setting. The EHS Coordinator will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, promote a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
- Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of safety data, including SDS, injury/illness logs, and permits.
- Participate in environmental compliance programs (waste management, air/water permits).
- Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and reporting.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Promote employee involvement in safety committees and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and review of EHS policies and procedures.
- 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other EHS regulations.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
- OSHA 30 Certified, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), is a plus.
- Primarily based in a manufacturing plant environment.
- May require occasional work in outdoor or elevated locations.
- Must be able to wear PPE as required.
The is an exempt position offers a salary range of $70,000.00- $80,000.00 Annually and is bonus eligible. The Target Bonus is 10% of your base salary. This bonus is based on the company’s budgeted EBITDA performance. If the budgeted targets are not met, the Board of Directors will determine the bonus, if any.
