Program OverviewThe Rush Copley Family Medicine Residency Program offers full‑time and part‑time faculty positions within a 4‑4‑4 accredited ACGME family medicine program affiliated with Rush University.
Position Details• Faculty inpatient call averages one week every 4.5 weeks with residents.
• Provide direct supervision and instruction of residents in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Develop and deliver didactic lectures, procedural training, and participate in curriculum development, quality improvement, scholarly activity, and program administration.
• Mentor residents and promote an environment conducive to learning and professional development.
• Opportunity to join the faculty of the Rush University Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.
Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and instruction of residents in both outpatient and inpatient clinical settings.
- Develop and deliver didactic lectures and procedural training aligned with ACGME competencies.
- Participate in curriculum development, quality improvement, scholarly activity, and residency program administration.
- Mentor residents and promote an environment conducive to learning, growth, and professional development.
- Hospital privileges within the past 2 years or currently in residency training.
- Unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility).
- ABFM or AOBFP board certified or eligible in Family Medicine.
- Graduate of an ACGME‑accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Previous academic experience and Spanish language skills are a plus.
Pay Range: $245,000 – $320,000.
