Demand Analyst

This role is highly analytical and execution-focused, designed for someone who enjoys delving into the details and understands how small demand signals can have outsized downstream impacts. The Demand Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate, well-structured demand plans for lower-volume items, new products, and developing channels — areas of the business where variability is higher and precision matters most.

Reporting to the Director of IBP & Demand Planning
, this role does not define IBP scope or strategy. Instead, the Demand Analyst supports broader planning processes by providing reliable, thoughtful forecasting inputs and analyses that inform supply, inventory, and operational decisions.

Atlas will be the core planning tool in our environment, and this role will actively manage forecasts, assumptions, and analysis within Atlas. However, this role will require comfort with ad hoc analysis outside Atlas and with complex Excel functions. Success comes from strong data hygiene, disciplined execution, and curiosity about how emerging demand patterns evolve over time.

• Execute weekly and monthly demand forecasts within Atlas for long-tail SKUs and emerging channels.
• Analyze historical sales, trends, seasonality, and early demand signals to support accurate forecasting.
• Maintain detailed, well-documented assumptions behind forecast changes.
• Monitor forecast volatility and surface risks, anomalies, or inconsistencies early.

• Support established demand planning and S&OP cadences through accurate data preparation and analysis.
• Provide dependable forecasting inputs that roll into broader IBP and supply planning processes.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly planning cycles by maintaining clean data and structured outputs.
• Track forecast performance over time to support continuous improvement.

• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to gather inputs related to emerging channels, new items, and evolving demand patterns.
• Help translate commercial activity and business changes into thoughtful forecast updates.
• Communicate clearly when demand trends may impact inventory, service levels, or supply plans.

• Maintain high standards for data accuracy, structure, and organization within Atlas and supporting tools.
• Identify gaps, noise, or inconsistencies in long-tail demand data.
• Support incremental improvements to forecasting workflows, reporting, and analysis.
• Build a strong understanding of how demand-planning decisions impact downstream supply-chain execution.

• 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable spending significant time working deep in datasets, spreadsheets, and planning tools.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Atlas, Net Suite, or similar planning/ERP tools is a plus.
• Exposure to demand planning, S&OP, or supply chain processes preferred.
• Experience in a CPG or consumer products environment is a plus.
