Purchasing Buyer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, self‑motivated buyer to take over the purchasing and inventory control responsibilities of our company. This is a 25‑40 hr / week position, depending on the responsibilities taken. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, evaluating supplier performance, ensuring on‑time delivery, measuring inventory turns, and working in a team environment.

Distributor and Manufacturer's Representative of equipment, tools and materials to the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. Great people. Small, informal, aggressive and selling the top tier lines in our industry.

• Proven experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management
• Strong negotiation and cost‑reduction skills, while building great relationships with vendors
• Familiarity with procurement systems and supply chain management
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, problem‑solving, and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field are great, but proven experience is most important.
