Principal Software Engineer TS​/SCI Security Clearance

Position: Principal Software Engineer TS/SCI with Security Clearance
This position requires an active TS/SCI w CI Poly security clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire. Solidus is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for an onsite role based in Tewksbury, MA to join a talented team that develops enhancements and modifications to existing software systems. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge with software engineering object-oriented technologies.

Day in the life:
* Troubleshoot system anomalies related to software, system configuration, network interfaces and operating system issues
* Coordinate software installs/upgrades with adherence to Configuration Management (CM) procedures and policies
* Software architecture design, development and testing
* Develop/maintain system tools and documentation as required Security Clearance requirements:
* An active TS/SCI w CI Poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
* Willingness to undergo and pass a comprehensive background investigation.

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

* Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and minimum of 8 years of object oriented software development OR possess the equivalent of 16 years direct experience in lieu of a degree
* Must have a current DODI 8570.1-M IAT Level II (Security+ ) (minimum) certification
* Experience with Jenkins
* Java experience within a Linux environment
* Java Messaging Service (JMS) experience
* Experience with software deployments within Docker containers
* Experience with Netbeans
* Experience with Java Script  
* Ability to perform all aspects of the software development lifecycle to include requirements definition
* Ability to provide a variety of technical solutions for a wide range of difficult problems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with web-based development and/or web services Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.
* Full benefits: $105,000 to $131,000 annually
* Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision):
