Base pay: $/yr - $/yr

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph (last polygraph within the last 5 years)
• At least 20 years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) from an accredited college or university required; 4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
• In-depth experience with Java
• Documented professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience or familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Ability to provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development processes
• Experience designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features
• Experience implementing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Experience with simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Ability to write or review software and system documentation
• Experience designing or implementing complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
• Ability to develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Experience developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, consulting with users or system engineers; analyzing system flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas
• Experience designing, developing and modifying software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes
• Ability to design or implement complex algorithms requiring strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; perform quality control on team products
• Recommending new technologies and processes for complex software projects
• Potential to serve as technical lead for multiple software development teams
