Intern High School Field - AMPed UP Program

OVERVIEW

Assists electricians by performing tasks under the direct supervision of a Licensed electrician. This role will be located at our Prefabrician Building in Aurora. We have a very limited number of spaces for this internship.

• Responsible for communications including tell back procedure
• Handle material required for the job
• Install raceways, pull wire, and mount equipment
• Assemble and install small to large electrical parts and pieces
• Trim outlets, recessed cans and other repetitive finish work
• Perform duties as assigned by lead people
• Sweep the jobsite
• Take out trash from the jobsite
• Move material upon request
• Prepare the jobsite for work the next day
• Ensure the jobsite is clean and clear of clutter
• Operate a broom, shovel, wheelbarrow etc. as necessary for cleanup purposes

High School Diploma or equivalent is required along with being enrolled in a two-year trade school. No experience hours required with a high level of energy and sense of urgency a plus.
