Position Title
Michigan Licensed Journeyman Electrician
OverviewPrimoris offers an efficient and collaborative approach with years of experience designing and building renewable power plants. Primoris partners with other Primoris Business Operating Units to combine solar PV, BESS, O&M Services, renewable gas, or hydrogen service offerings. Primoris is committed to safety, high quality workmanship and achieving operational excellence during the process of constructing your renewable energy facility.
ResponsibilitiesPlan layout, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment.
Key Accountabilities- Practice safety rules.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Safe use of hand and power tools.
- Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
- Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
- Be accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Terminations up to 1500V ac and dc.
- Read construction drawings and understand construction specifications.
- Understand basic electrical systems.
- Install underground cables and conduits.
- Run basic electrical test equipment.
- Work with and mentor helpers.
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
- Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.).
- Comply with the company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy.
- Pass physical examination as required by the company.
- Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights and in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.).
- Must have a current Michigan Journeyman Electrician License Required
- Carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials; seek assistance for items over 50 lbs if needed.
- Stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.).
- Must be clean, shaven and able to work while wearing a respirator and other PPE when required.
$63 Per Hour
Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. Primoris Renewable Energy reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
