Securitas Security is looking for Armed Security professionals to join our team in providing overall safety and security services to our clients. Our armed program includes advanced firearms training, personal defense strategies, de-escalation, and use of force. We issue all necessary equipment to include company issued firearm and ammunition. We are looking for individuals who have prior law enforcement, military and or armed experience to join our team!

Prior experience in armed security, military, or law enforcement preferred. At a minimum, must be able to speak to gun safety and responsibilities as well as successfully complete assessments and shooting qualification.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.50/Hour

• Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required.
• Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community.
• Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
• Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.
• Monitors surveillance cameras. The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
• With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  
  Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

• Must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for an armed position.
• Must have 2 Years Armed Security experience.
• Must pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal/written communication.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
