Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic team, working a 2x10 schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, 7:30am–6pm
. As a key member of our Physician Operations team, you’ll deliver exceptional clinical care to individuals living with mental illness and substance use disorders. This role supports our Adult Intensive Services division, which provides specialized, daily care to adults with severe and persistent mental illness while helping them maintain vital connections to family and community. Salary for this role. Starting wage is based on licensure and company equity. Paid bi-weekly.
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay. This differential is provided as a fixed amount of $1,500 per calendar year, paid on a bi-weekly basis across 26 pay periods, and prorated based on hire date and full-time equivalency (FTE). Eligibility and payment are subject to the language requirements of the position and the employee’s demonstrated proficiency in the language.
EssentialFunctions
- Support the clinical functions of the medical team (completing all medical orders and communicating vital patient care information to physician/prescriber).
- Perform nursing interventions for which an RN has been trained.
- Observe, identify, and monitor patient condition, including changes in symptoms, and relate same to appropriate members of the treatment team.
- Administer injections and medications.
- Provide patient education for medication(s).
- Provide medical case management and other clinical interventions, as appropriate.
- Effectively respond to patient needs and problems; provide timely responses to messages and other requests.
- Coordinate prescription refills according to organization policy.
- Act as liaison to outside agencies and providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Provide assistance in crisis intervention, as needed.
- In a timely manner, accurately and completely chart interventions, lab results, medications dispensed, and all activities related to patient interactions according to the organization's procedures.
- Complete required education and training in a timely manner.
- Provide information to credentialing, payroll, etc. in a timely manner.
- Associate's in Nursing required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Colorado Registered Nurse Licensure Requirement:
Per Colorado BHA regulations, you must hold an active Colorado RN license (or compact RN licensure from another state) before providing any client services. - Preferred: one year of relevant clinical experience.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience. - Ability to administer medications and injections.
- Demonstrated ability in nursing assessment including evaluation and interpretation of medical and behavioral health information.
- Knowledge and familiarity of nursing care management concepts, and psychotropic medications.
- Advanced written and oral communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, efficient time management with multitasking ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as collaborate with other internal and external teams.
- Ability to learn and operate various software programs, including Word, Excel and web-based systems.
