Overnight Licensed Practical NURSE III; LPN - Fitzsimons Veterans Community Living Center

Job Overview

This position is open to current Colorado residents only. The role is for an LPN III at the Colorado Veterans Community Living Center at Fitzsimons, a 180‑bed skilled nursing facility.

• Plan and coordinate skilled nursing care for residents.
• Review and audit care activities to ensure compliance with policies and quality standards.
• Administer medications and treatments following safe medication administration protocols.
• Assess residents upon admission, during critical incidents, or when conditions change to determine nursing interventions.
• Manage supplies and equipment, maintain infection control, and dispose of waste correctly.
• Document all care in medical records.
• Participate in team development and orientation for new employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current, valid Colorado LPN license in good standing.
• Three years of professional experience in a long‑term care environment.
• CPR card required.
• IV certification preferred for administering IV fluids.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and professional skills.
