Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 12-hour day shift assignment in Colorado requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of recent OR nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room (OR) and Same Day Surgery (SDS) units of a hospital

• Position involves perioperative nursing care for surgical patients

• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Duties include assisting in surgical procedures, patient care before and after surgery, and collaborating with the OR team

• At least one professional reference must be provided

• US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration

• No local candidates will be considered

• Up-to-date certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration

• Minimum of one year recent OR nursing experience needed

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC required

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Applicants must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
