Dessert Holdings is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team based in Aurora, CO. Responsible for strategy and tool development across the site, as well as coaching and execution of countermeasures and driving action plans to completion.

The typical hiring range for this role is $ to $170,000 annually and is based on several factors such as education, work experience, skills, certifications, location, etc. In addition to pay, Dessert Holdings offers benefits such as a choice of comprehensive medical plans, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement contribution to all eligible employees.

Key Responsibilities- Responsible for strategy and tool development across the site, as well as coaching and execution of countermeasures and driving action plans to completion.
- Developing and owning the plant loss KPI tracking and reporting standards.
- Accountable for developing and managing the overall Continuous Improvement Program standards for the plant, ensuring the effectiveness of change management, adoption of systems, and culture.
- Develop and implement problem-solving tools to drive out all losses within the plant, including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations.
- Manage the site productivity process and overall identified projects to deliver productivity goals over the next 10 years.
- Institutionalize Standardized Work, Problem-Solving, and Pull Systems as fundamental building blocks for the organization.
- Develop capability in others in commitment and understanding of the business change with a zero-loss mindset.
- Train and coach the problem-solving processes and tools at all levels of the plant, including requirements to spend much of the daily time on the plant production floor.
- Will supervise 6 C/I Technicians.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and 4 years related experience.
- Must also have 12 months of demonstrated with each of the following:
- Implementing continuous improvement processes, using methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, SDCA, and PDCA cycles, Pillar structure across all departments
- Monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by ensuring a Power
BI usage as a primary tool - Ensuring adherence to food safety, GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements; by utilizing CI tools such as:
Problem solves, KES tracking, RACI matrix and process flow mapping, to name a few - Preparing for, conducting, or certifying audits related to quality, food safety, and maintenance
- Overseeing production line operations, budget, and performance; by ensuring the sustainability of the Management System
- Managing and training production employees by establishing and maintaining a training program.
