Ferroglobe is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team at the bagging operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks associated with the bagging process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all operations. Forklift experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

• Bagging Operations:
  Operate bagging machinery to package and stack 50lb bags of products on pallets according to specifications.
• Quality Control:
  Inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Material Handling:
  Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to and from storage areas using manual or mechanical means.
• Forklift Operation: (If experienced) Operate a forklift (after certification) to move products and materials within the facility. Training will be provided for those without experience, and all candidates will be certified through the company first.
• Inventory Management:
  Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by recording quantities of materials and products.
• Safety Compliance:
  Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintenance:
  Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and cleanliness.
• Team
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Forklift
  
  Experience:
  
  Preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Skills:
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools used in bagging operations.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions.

• Performs jobs under varying conditions (dust, oil, grease, hot and humid temperatures, fumes, noise, etc.).
• Ability to lift 100lbs, Floor to waist, Waist to shoulder. Overhead, Carry 20+ feet.
• Wears proper PPE in the manufacturing area (shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection).
