- Strategic Planning:
Design, implement and monitor procurement strategies to ensure supply security, meet financial and budget objectives and mid to long term category developments. - Technical Expertise:
Use knowledge of direct materials and procurement processes to evaluate supply markets and select the best suppliers. - Supplier Relationship Management:
Lead negotiations and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price and service. - Quality & Compliance:
Oversee the selection and quality of materials, ensure compliance with PMI and regulatory standards. - Process Optimization:
Design and implement programs to streamline products and processes to realize productivity by challenging the status quo. - Documentation & Compliance:
Review and approve contracts and price lists to ensure accurate documentation and supplier performance measurement. - Leadership:
Guide and motivate decentralized procurement team members and stakeholders to foster growth and development.
- Experience:
8 to 10 years in Purchasing, Planning, Development or Quality Assurance functions, with significant experience in purchasing, product development, and quality management in a multinational environment. - Market Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the supply market and related service categories. - A university degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong skills in financial analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of negotiation techniques.
- Good command of process engineering.
- Strong project management skills.
- Effective time management.
