Area Manager – Asset Living
Join us as an Area Manager and play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Supervisor.

AreaManager Responsibilities
- Personnel management: screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; create staff schedules; address performance issues and enforce compliance with company policies.
- Financial management: maximize net operating income through effective cost control, revenue enhancement, budgeting, vendor reconciliation, and accurate financial reporting.
- Strategic leasing management: develop marketing plans, recruit prospective residents, maintain accurate lease documentation, and implement resident retention programs.
- Administrative & maintenance management: oversee leasing and reporting accuracy, lead emergency response, manage maintenance requests and inspections, and coordinate restoration projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate on‑site software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements.
- Tasks may require standing or sitting for prolonged periods, repetitive wrist and hand motions, and assessment of work quality.
- Movement between workstations, use of ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and step stools; ability to lift or move objects up to 25 lbs.
- Operation of machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles; duties may involve overtime, weekends, night hours, and exposure to various environmental conditions.
- Reliable transportation is required for emergency on‑call responsibilities.
$115,000–$120,000 per year
