Senior Platform Developer TS​/SCI w CI Poly

This position requires an active TS/SCI w CI Poly security clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

Solidus is hiring a Senior Platform Developer for an onsite role based in Aurora, CO.

In this Senior Platform Developer role, you will empower development teams with a robust platform that streamlines processes, enhances collaboration, and accelerates release cycles, thereby driving efficiency and innovation. You will also be part of an Agile team that is responsible for development and operational environments consisting of a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware. These environments provide the enterprise hybrid‑cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset.

This will include a mixture of hands‑on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in support of transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure
• Optimize implementation for performance and scalability across on‑premise VMware computing environments
• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and Dev Ops teams to design and implement development and mission solutions
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
• Provide operational support for the platform

• An active TS/SCI w CI Poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
• Experience with containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
• Current CompTIA Security+, or the ability to obtain
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment.

• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab)
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
• Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore)
• Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a Dev Sec Ops  framework
• Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience and expertise (Server, Storage, Network Hardware)
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using infrastructure as code (IaC)

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.

• Full benefits: $117,000 to $141,000 annually
• Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision):
