AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensures customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
• Work in 24/7 environment with on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed
• Provide in‑depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair
• Participate in an on‑call rotation
• Travel regionally as required

• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
• Associate's degree in IT-related field or equivalent professional or military experience
• 2+ years of experience with server hardware

• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
