As a Senior Platform IAC Engineer, you will support the development and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid‑cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands‑on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

The Senior Platform IAC Engineer will be well versed in maintaining COTS/FOSS products and use of tools such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible, Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs.

• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IAC solutions.
• Support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks.
• Assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare.
• Assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on premise or virtualized / Cloud based computing environments.
• Assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution.

• BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+).
• Experience with Tenable, Consul, Terraform.
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe).
• A current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required, day 1 with the willingness to obtain a CI Poly. U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience with installing and configuring Kubernetes.
• Experience with application deployments to Kubernetes using Helm.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging deployment and software infrastructure issues.
• Experience with Ansible automation frameworks.
• Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker).
• Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
• General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization.
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration.
• Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 90 days.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
